Unnai Pol Oruvan - Movie Review

This kamal hasan film was just released on 18th september, 2009. We went to the film yesterday, with my wife, my nephews srihari and niveditha. The evenings show had attracted many people from somanur.

The film started with kamal entered a train and put a bag inside a train and quit. Then he went to a police station to lodge a comlaint. He went to the toilet inside the station and put a bag hidden. In similar way he put bags at many places.

Then kamal approached a big builing being constructed and went to the top floor. Sets up some computers and electronic devices, places himself on a chair. Then he calls the city police commissioner (mohanlal) and tells that he had set bombs across the city and wants a negotiator with in minutes. Mohanlal consults with the home secretary (lakshmi) about the situation. Lakshmi consults with the chief minister of Tamilnadu. She talked with the CM over the cellphone. The voice of the CM resembles the current Tamilnadu chief minister MR. Karunanidhi. (a surprising mimick). The CM gave her full authority to negotiate on behalf of him. But she thought she could not handle it and gave mohanlal the full authority.

Now kamal calls the commissioner and asked for the release of four dangerous terrorists locked up in jail. During the negotiations commissioner took all efforts to find the caller and his identity. He sent for the RTX dealers and used informers to gain information. But they could not trace the caller and his identity. Kamal has fixed the deadline as 6 pm. At last mohanlal accepted to release the four terrorists. He sent them along with two of his trusted young officers. They reached cholavaram airport, the destination kamal asked for. After reaching there kamal contacted the officer and talked to the terrorists and asked them to go the jeep parked there. Commisioner ordered the officer to do whatever kamal says and the sincere officer reluctantly allowed them to go the jeep. But he held one. Another officer quarrled with him to leave him too.

As the three terrorists reached the jeep as per kamals instruction and ignited the engine, the jeep exploded and turned to ashes.

Now kamla called the commisioner back and explained, he was not part of terrorist group and just a common man of India. He was affected by many terrorist bombings, not personally but emotionally. To make revenge and kill some terrorists he made this plan.

See the movie in big screen and enjoy the twists, surprises and fast action. The film is short only 2 hours, and there is no heroine, no romance no love and no song. A good thriller story with out violence, unnecessary fights, chasing etc.,

Unnai Pol Oruvan is a must to watch film along with family and children. So make this sunday enjoyable and useful by watching this good film Unnai Pol Oruvan.

Unnai Pol Oruvan Released Today

Rajkamal Films International's 'Unnai Pol Oruvan' is released today. Earlier Kamal met problems with the release of the film. Sai Meera's Narayanan went to court to asking a stay for the release. Sai meera and Raj kamal international jointly started the film 'Marma yogi'. But the film could not be continued due to financial problems. Marma Yogi was filmed both in Tamil and Hindi. For Hindi version, Amitab bachan and priyanka chopra were intially thought and kamal could not bring them to the film. For tamil version Trisha and Shreya were considered.
After some shooting the film was abandoned. Sai meera gave kamal about 10 crore and they are asking the money back. They accuse kamlahasan spent the money for the his new film 'Unnai Pol Oruvan'.

Today the court ruled that kamal can release the film today as planned and ordered kamal to pay the case charges before october 1. The controversy is not completely over. Wait and see what will happen.

Meantime 'Unnai Pol Oruvan' is released in coimbatore. In somanur Savitha theatre has released the film. We have planned to go to the film tomorrow.

In coimbtore the film is released in Ragam Theatre, Kumaran Theatre, Shanthi Theatre, Archana, Kaveri, Kalidas - vadavalli, Arasan - podanur, Manis - peelamedu, Kalpana - kavundampalayam.

In Erode the film is showing in Abirami, Sri Chandika.

In Tirupur the film is showing in Sri sakthi, Tamilnadu, Sivan, Varanasi, Revathi theatres.

T. M. Soundararajan, fondly known as TMS was born on March 24, 1923 in Madurai. He is a legendary playback singer from the Tamil film industry for Four Decades. He gave voice to most of M. G. R, Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, Jai Sankar and Ravichandran songs in Tamil films. Popularly known as "TMS" is from the Sourashtra community from Madurai. He is a devotee of Lord Muruga and sang many devotional songs on him. Even at the Age of 85 years, he is still actively singing for Tamil Film industry and the latest one "Valiban Suttrum Ulagam" (Remember "Ulagam Suttrum Valiban" was the hit film of MGR) along with P Susila is expected to be released in this year .

During the shooting of 'Parthiban kanavu' there were rumours of love between sneha and srikanth.

But it was later proved to be mere rumour. After that Sneha gave hits with Pandi and Silambattam with glamour roles.
