Viswanathan Ramamurthy composed music for this 1955 tamil movie. One of the oldest MGR movies in which T.R. Rajakumari was MGR's heroine. The popular song 'Mayakkum Maalai Poluthae nee poo' was from this film. A.M. Rajah and jikki sang this song. T.N. Ramaiah Dass wrote the lyrics.
